£5.30Camden Pale Ale
hoppy + citrussy with a refreshing finish

sweet, crisp and made purely with green apples
Contains: sulphites
Wagamama serves sxollie cider at £5.90, the top of the bottle list: a dry South African cider pressed from single variety eating apples, drier and cleaner than the UK mainstream, and the bottle this site points at the duck and pork plates. Published price, vegan and gluten free marked.
Sxollie's pitch is apples that were grown for eating, granny smith and golden delicious pressed varietally, which lands a cider crisp and genuinely dry where supermarket standards run sweet. Apple's old alliance with pork and duck does the pairing work: beside the gochujang pork belly ramen, the tonkatsu bao or the duck dishes, it is the closest the list comes to a sommelier's choice.
Naturally gluten free as cider is, vegan marked, and the most expensive bottle by pennies, it is the order for the table that wants neither beer's bitterness nor wine's commitment.
